Hi! This little part of my web page is intended to introduce you to a tune I wrote called “Lost in Boston”. Danny Klein wrote the lyrics and Joe Barger is the vocalist. It is a catchy, clever, and totally swinging love song of sorts that pokes fun at our city of strange streets – but it also underscores what Bostonians feel about the place – that is, that while we all get lost here, we find ourselves at home.

It has been played at Fenway Park during Red Sox games and on NPR’s “Car Talk” show. If anyone can get Tony Bennett or Elvis Costello to listen to it (and then record it,) we’re set for life. You might notice that it is unlike any of the other music that I have ever recorded, because there are vocals and because it might even have commercial potential. You be the judge!
